Lazy ED CANABIANS
Special horses for special people

Introduction

A horse to last a lifetime

Canadi-Ana (Annie) at 5 weeks                                         Canadian Chance at 6 weeks

Canabian.  Arabian and Canadien (Canada's National Horse).        The Canadien  has its own unique genetic code. (University of Guelph Equine Research Site  http://www.erc.on.ca/frames_nav_research.htm).

Canabian
Breeding our Canadien stallion to our Arab mares is producing  stamina, substance and wonderful personalities. We are breeding horses that last,  are 'easy keepers' and our grandchildren can ride them. (Grandkids  on horses)

The Arabian Horse is known for its beauty and stamina.  They are smart, alert, quick, and sometimes perceived as skittish.   Many well known endurance horses had been rejected by others because of their strong personalities and sturdy conformation.
The Canadien Horse is renowned as the "Little Iron Horse" for its feet and stamina.   One writer described them as "Angels without wings" for their disposition.  These tough, gentle horses survived generations of harsh Canadian winters with sparse food and often no shelter.  Some are well known as jumpers, others as great driving horses.

We discovered the Canadien horse was on the rare breed list and wanted to introduce people to these wonderful animals.
